How to open an Axi account: the official 8 steps
- 01Open the registration page on the official site
Go to the account opening page of the Axi official site to enter the client portal.
- 02Choose your country of residence
Choose your country of residence on the registration screen. Check the applicable entity shown there too.
- 03Enter your details and accept the terms
Enter your personal and account details, create a password and accept the terms of use.
- 04Complete multi-factor authentication (MFA)
Set up multi-factor authentication, which asks for an extra code at login, with an authenticator app or SMS.
- 05Submit your ID documents from 'Funds'
Go to 'Funds' > 'Verification' and upload the required identity documents.
- 06Select 'Start trading'
Once verified, select 'Start trading' on the Axi trading platform.
- 07Accept the terms and click 'Open account'
Read the terms of use in the pop-up and click 'Open account'.
- 08Check your new trading account
The new Axi trading account appears on the dashboard. Note the account number.
How long Axi account opening takes and what to do if it stalls
According to the official help, electronic approval comes first and the account opens as soon as you are verified. If a manual review is needed, it can take 1 to 2 business days.
- Missing or incomplete documents are the main cause of delay (official help)
- Images must show all four corners, be clear and in full colour. Submit both sides of a driver's licence and a national ID
- If you have submitted everything and see no update, contact client services
- If the verification screen does not respond, check that your browser is not blocking cookies
- If you do not finish within 28 days, deposits, trading and withdrawals may be restricted until verification is complete
